Create a finished, personalized gothic fairy-tale illustration using the attached photograph as the identity reference.

First, silently study the person’s visible features: facial structure, natural skin tone and undertone, eye shape, eyebrows, nose, lips, hair color and texture, hairstyle, expression, posture, clothing, accessories, and dominant colors. Use these observations to design the illustration. Do not infer personality, ethnicity, occupation, or other unseen characteristics.

Keep the person clearly recognizable. Preserve their distinctive facial proportions, skin tone, hairstyle, hairline, facial hair if present, glasses, headwear, and defining accessories. Translate these features into illustrated form without replacing the face with a generic character.

Maintain the person’s apparent age and gender presentation. Adults must remain visibly adult despite the stylized proportions.

Keep their original expression and gaze, with subtle artistic exaggeration only.

FIXED ART STYLE

An intricate hand-drawn gothic storybook illustration with whimsical, slightly uncanny elegance.

Fine black ink and graphite linework, dense irregular cross-hatching, delicate scratchy contours, muted watercolor washes, and restrained colored-pencil shading on visibly aged, textured paper.

Elongated silhouettes, slender limbs, a subtly oversized head, and slightly enlarged expressive eyes that still preserve the person’s original eye shape.

Detailed hair strands, fabric folds, fur or feathers, and botanical textures.

The entire image must feel drawn and painted by hand, including the face, animal, and background.

Atmospheric and quietly magical, with a balance of melancholy and charm.

ANIMAL SELECTION

If an animal is already visible in the reference photograph, retain its species and defining appearance as the primary companion.

Otherwise, choose exactly ONE real animal species that creates the strongest visual harmony with the person’s visible appearance.

Consider the animal’s silhouette, fur or feather texture, coloring, markings, and posture in relation to the person’s hairstyle, clothing, expression, and pose.

Do not choose an animal based on presumed personality or skin-color stereotypes. Do not automatically select the same species for every portrait.

Possible choices include a fox, hare, owl, raven, deer, swan, flamingo, cat, black panther, or another visually suitable species. These are possibilities, not a required checklist.

Render the animal as a recognizable species with elegant storybook stylization. Keep it separate from the person; no human-animal fusion.

Preserve the reference outfit’s dominant colors, recognizable silhouette, neckline, patterns, and important accessories.

Adapt its materials and small details into a timeless fairy-tale wardrobe while keeping a clear connection to the original outfit.

Do not put every subject in the same black coat or dress.

If the photo shows only the upper body, invent a coherent lower outfit consistent with the visible clothing.

Where appropriate, use delicate lace-up boots with subtly curled toes.

PERSONALIZED WORLD AND COLOR

Build a unique setting around the selected animal and the reference photograph’s visual palette.

Use a restrained palette of three to five colors, with muted ink-black shadows and aged-paper undertones.

Preserve the person’s natural complexion within this palette.

Possible environments:

— A moonlit woodland with twisting bare trees, tiny mushrooms, and a winding path.

— A quiet marsh with slender reeds and faint water reflections.

— A misty lake with distant pointed towers.

— A crooked old village with narrow windows glowing softly.

Choose and adapt the environment to this specific person and animal rather than repeating a fixed background.

Include a pale moon or softly glowing sun when it supports the composition. Keep lighting illustrated, soft, and subdued.

Vertical 3:4, one complete full-frame illustration.

Show the person from head to footwear, occupying approximately 75–85% of the image height.
